New York Holiday Recommendations I've been missing New York lately. Aaron and Len are spending two weeks there now and my friend Patty is heading there with her family right after Christmas.
I've been looking around at the lack of lights in Toronto and missing all the great decorations in NYC this year. Next year I may have to make sure I make a trip just for it. I was going to do it this year and then work got the better of me.
Here's the highlights of what I loved in New York for the Holiday season.
* Tree at the 'bull' at Exchange Place Downtown.
* The NYSE all dressed up in the lighted flag and Holiday lights.
* The Tree right in front of the NYSE with all the lights up.
* Of course, 5th ave and Madison ave above 47th with all the shops. My favorites each year?
- Cartier
- Saks 5th Ave.
- Bourgdoffs
- Tree at rockefeller Center and the skating.
- Sony Style store windows
- New York public library lions wearing their weaths.
* Walking down the shopping streets absorbing the 'spending' vibe.
* Going to the opera on New Year's Eve at Lincoln Center.
* Staying home and watching the ball drop being happy that you're no where near with everyone at Time Square.
